Studio Team Wins Top Award in Film Competition

Winsome, Teresa and Maggie accept the Jury Award (Best Film)

Congratulations to members of the Studio Team, Winsome Wong (5A), Teresa Ng Kei-kei (5A) and Maggie Lai (5D), for winning the top prize, the Jury Award for Best Film, in the Youth Inno-Action! HKBU Academy of Film Seeds Project: Digital Video Competition (「浸大電影學院種子計劃」內容).Winsome Wong also won the Best Director. award.

The film stars Cindy Wong Yi-ting and also features Caca Ho, Isabella Chan, Christiine Ng, Orange Mak, Violet Choi, Lilia Choi and Michelle Wong.

Our First Video to Hit 100,000 Views

It is always a struggle to get views on YouTube, so we are happy to see one of our videos reach 100,000 views. Strangely, it is not one of our main videos; it is simply the background music for the Dreamers HK: Your Dream in Life video. The song was composed by the studio supervisor, Mr Stephen Richards (who uses the pseudonym longzijun for media-related work) for the video that was produced by Winsome Wong, Maggie Lai, Teresa Ng and Evangeline Hung. In their video, they ask people about their dreams’in life.

Studio Team Wins Three Awards

Our studio team won three awards in a video advertisement competition organized by the Chinese Manufacturers Association Youth Committee Video Competition (第46屆工展會－全港中學生廣告短片創作比賽) In this competition, teams of students produced mock advertisements for real companies.

Our videos produced for 3D-GOLD and Modern Beauty Salon (Be Beauty) were selected as the best videos produced for the respective companies. Michelle Wong also won the award for best actress.

Finalists in the Chinese Manufacturer’s Association Youth Committee Video Competition (第46屆工展會－全港中學生廣告短片創作比賽)

We have two teams in the finals of the video advertising competition for secondary schools ( 第46屆工展會－全港中學生廣告短片創作比賽) organized by the Chinese Manufacturer’s Association Youth Committee (香港中華廠商聯合會青年委員會) in Hong Kong. The teams were assigned products and had to produce a video advertisement under 30 seconds. You can visit the voting site and cast your vote:
